Why Rush Kappa Sigma?
Coming into college in a new town can be a scary thing. Not knowing anyone or the way around the school can be an intimidating thing too. Joining a fraternity can help with all of these problems. In Kappa Sigma, we are the closest brotherhood on campus. No matter who it is, we can confide in one another and enjoy our time together. With us, it feels like a family with everyone in the fraternity.
On top of being a family, we help each other out. We solve those problems of college being scary and intimidating by offering a sense of direction to our members and helping them out in every way we can. We push each other to not only be the best man we can be, but also the best student. This applies even outside of school. We all love to take part in the extracurriculars the school and town offers, like intramural sports, or spending a day up at Bogus Basin, getting a group of guys together to enjoy activities with is guaranteed.
Finally, Kappa Sigma is a great time with some great guys. Everyone has their own interests and hobbies, but we all like to have fun with eachother, and love getting to know each other and new people. Joining Kappa Sigma could be the best decision of your life; all you have to do to find out is rush. Our process is simple; show up, see what we are all about, and if you like it, then keep on coming and we would love to get to know you!

What Does Rush Look Like?
Rush starts off with a big meet and greet where all chapters show up in one place to get to know all of the new people rushing, or potential new members as they are better known. After that will be Meet the Chapters where you will go around in a small group to meet all the chapter on campus. They will show a little rush video, like ours above, and then talk to all the pnm's. After Meet the Chapters, rush week will start. This is when all the chapters will have events during the week to go and play games and everyone gets to know each other.
Rush week is a great time to get to know everybody and get your face out there and known. For example, we usually have a poker night where everyone can either walk around and talk or play some poker with the guys. This is a great time to get to know us and who we are or what we are about to see what you do or don't like. This is also a great time to make sure all the guys know who you are. Rush is a good time to make new friends with the other pnm's too. After all, they are going through the same as you. Finally, the last day of rush week is bid day. You will be notified by whichever fraternity has given you a bid and the rest is unique for each fraternity.

We strive to find only the best men here at Boise State and make them even better. To have men that have the backs of those around them is a great value. We can't wait to get out there and get to know the next great class of Kappa Sigma men.
